Suryodaya Helping Foundation

Suryodaya Helping Foundation is over here in Shahade, specifically at Sardar Residency in Maloni. It isn't a huge setup, just a regular spot on Plot 1-B, which is part of Survey Number 45/1 and 45/2/A. Most days start pretty early because there is always something that needs doing. The street outside gets quite dusty in the summer, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We didn’t really plan for this to become a big thing, it just sort of happened when we realized people around here needed a bit of extra help with their paperwork and other small issues. The office is tucked away in the residency, and it’s a bit quiet during the afternoons when the sun is really hitting the roof. We spend a lot of time just talking to folks who walk in off the street. Some of them have been coming by for a long time now. It’s not fancy inside, just some desks and a few chairs for guests. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the files pile up when things get busy. Living and working in Maloni has its ups and downs, but it’s home for us. We just take it one day at a time and try to be useful where we can. It’s a small operation, but we like the way it runs without too much fuss or complicated systems.
