Sumit Nandkishor Maheshwari

I run my business from 2164 Tilak Road, which is right on the main road in the Nandurbar district. It is a busy area with a lot of people moving around, which I like because it keeps things interesting. I started this under my own name, Sumit Nandkishor Maheshwari, and I handle most of the daily work myself. The shop is not very large, but it has everything I need to get the job done. I do not have a big team of people or any fancy equipment. It is just me and sometimes a helper when things get really busy during the festival seasons. I try to keep my records straight, though my desk often ends up covered in piles of receipts and notes by the end of the week. My family has been in this region for a long time, so I feel a strong connection to the local community here. I do not go in for big advertisements or polished business talks. I just talk to people like a normal person and try to provide what they are looking for at a fair price. The traffic outside on Tilak Road can get quite noisy in the afternoons, but I have gotten used to it over the years. I open up the doors every morning and stay until the work is finished. It is a simple way of doing things, and it works for me. I prefer being my own boss and serving the people in my town.
