You can find Shrikanak Urban Nidhi Limited at Plot No 3A in Kalaspati Nagar. This is right in the heart of Nandurbar. The office isn't much to look at from the outside, just a regular door in a residential area. We chose this spot because it's easy for the local residents to walk to. Nandurbar gets incredibly hot during the summer months, so we spend a lot of our time trying to keep the room cool with a small water cooler. It hums in the background while we work on the accounts. We deal with small savings and loans for the people who live nearby. Most of our members are people we see at the market or the temple. It’s a very informal atmosphere here. We don't wear suits or ties. Just regular clothes that are comfortable for the weather. The filing cabinets are getting a bit full, so we spend some Saturdays organizing old papers. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People just hear about us from their cousins or neighbors. We try to be honest and clear about how things work. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to ask people to wait a few minutes while the page loads. Nobody seems to mind too much. We usually offer them a glass of water while they wait. It’s just a normal, everyday business trying to help out the local community.
