M/S Jethalal Pochalal

In Nadiad, specifically in Kansara Bazar, things stay pretty much the same over the years. Our shop, M/S Jethalal Pochalal, sits right in the middle of all that noise and bustle. It’s a tight space, but it works for what we do. If you walk through the market, you’ll hear the sound of metal and people haggling all day long. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building shows its age. The wooden doors are a bit creaky and the floor is worn down from all the feet walking in and out. Most of our day is spent talking to old customers who have been coming to us for decades. They know where to find us. It’s not like those big new malls. Here, we know our neighbors and we look out for each other. Sometimes it gets really hot in the afternoons, so we sit under the old fan and wait for the evening rush. It’s a simple way of doing business. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the shop and our reputation in the bazaar. We deal with various goods and try to keep things organized, though it gets messy when a new shipment arrives. My father used to say that as long as the shutters are up, we’re doing okay. It’s just a regular local business trying to make a living in a busy town, day after day, through the seasons.
