Umanwar Clinic

Umanwar Clinic is just a small spot in Cidco. We have been here for a good while, and most people in the neighborhood know where we are. It’s a pretty standard setup. We have some chairs in the front for waiting and a desk where we keep all the files and papers. The area around Cidco is usually busy with people going to work or running errands, so we see a lot of foot traffic. It’s not a fancy place with modern art on the walls or anything like that. It’s just a regular clinic where we spend our days. Sometimes the door squeaks when people come in, and we keep meaning to fix it, but there’s always something else to do. We see all sorts of people, from young kids with their mothers to the elderly who live just around the corner. It feels like we are part of the daily routine for this part of town. We open up early, get the tea ready, and wait for the first person to show up. There’s a lot of talking involved, just hearing what’s wrong and trying to help out. It’s a basic, honest way to earn a living. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the name so people can find us. It’s a quiet life most days, and we like it that way. Being right here in Cidco makes us feel connected to everything going on around us.
