If you head over to Mudkhed, specifically near Suryakant Devrao Deshmukh’s place, you’ll find our office. We’ve been part of the Nanded district for a bit now. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us working out of this space in Mudkhed. People in town know us as the local Nidhi. We mostly handle small savings and loans for the folks living nearby. There’s a lot of talk in the tea shops around here, and we hear most of it. We aren't trying to be some big city bank. We’re just here in the 431717 area code doing what we can. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty when the wind blows through, but that's just how it is. We spend our mornings getting the books ready and our afternoons talking to people who come in. Everyone has a different story. Some are saving for a wedding, others just want to keep their money somewhere safe. We don't use big words or try to confuse anyone. It’s just straightforward. Dealing with money is serious, so we keep our heads down and focus. It’s nice being in a place where you know the names of the people walking by. It feels right. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just have a calendar and some files. It's enough for us to get through the day and help our neighbors out with their basic financial needs without any fuss.
