Shraddha General Hospital

Our hospital is located at Ambedkar Chowk, right on the Lasurgaon Road near Lasur Station in Gangapur. It’s a big corner in Aurangabad where a lot of things happen. Since it's a general hospital, we see a bit of everything. People come in with high fevers, stomach pains, or sometimes injuries from working out in the fields or on the road. The building isn't brand new, so it has that lived-in feel. There’s always someone sitting on the benches outside waiting for news or just resting. We have different wards for men and women and a small area for emergencies. The noise from the chowk comes in through the windows, mostly horns and people shouting. It’s a practical place. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just the stuff we need to help people get better. The staff lives nearby, so we know a lot of the families who walk through the doors. At night, it’s a bit quieter but there’s always a light on in case someone arrives late. We deal with a lot of paperwork and basic medicine. Sometimes we run out of chairs in the waiting area during the monsoon when everyone gets sick at the same time. It’s a busy life here in Gangapur. We just try to keep things moving and make sure everyone gets seen before we head home for the night.
