Sarkate Hospital

Sarkate Hospital is located in Taluka Mantha. We have been here for a long time serving the people from the local villages and the town area. Being in a taluka means we are often the first place people come when they have an emergency or just need a routine check. The building is a bit older and shows its age, but it works for what we need. It can get very busy here, especially on market days when everyone from the surrounding countryside comes into Mantha. The hallways are often filled with families waiting for their relatives. We have a few different rooms for patients and the basic equipment to handle most common issues. It is not like the hospitals you see in the big cities with glass walls and air conditioning everywhere. It is a practical place where the floors are swept and the lights are on. We see a lot of people who work on the farms nearby. They come in with all sorts of problems. The staff is mostly from this area, so they speak the local language and understand how people live here. It is a lot of hard work and the days are long. Sometimes we run out of chairs and people have to lean against the walls while they wait their turn. We just keep going because there are always more people coming in. It is just a regular part of life in Mantha for us.
