Rehan Clinic

We are over at Rehan Clinic, located on the Bakapur Main Road in Palashi Shahar. It’s a dusty road sometimes, especially when the trucks go by, but it’s where we are every day. Palashi Shahar is a place where everyone seems to know each other, or at least they know who belongs where. Our clinic is a simple room on the main road, nothing too elaborate. We have a few benches for people to wait on and a desk where we keep the registers. The mornings usually start with us sweeping out the dust that blew in overnight. We see a lot of the same people walking their kids to school or going to the market. It’s a steady stream of life right outside our door. We don’t use any big fancy words or have a lot of glossy posters. It’s just a local clinic for local people. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit, talking to whoever is waiting. We’ve been on Bakapur Main Road for a while now, and we’ve seen shops open and close around us. We just keep doing our thing, day in and day out. It’s a modest way to spend the day, but it feels right being part of Palashi Shahar like this. We like the local vibe and the fact that we can see the whole town pass by our window on Bakapur Main Road.
