Prasanna Tavel

We’ve been here at Hingoli Gate in Nanded for a good while now. It’s always busy around this part of town with people coming and going. Most folks know us as Prasanna Tavel. We basically help people get their travel plans sorted out. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that, just a regular place where you can come in and talk about where you need to go. Sometimes the traffic outside is pretty loud since we are right by the gate. We started this because there was a need for someone to help with bus tickets and local trips around the 431731 area. My cousin and I usually handle things. On some days, it gets really crowded, especially during the festival seasons when everyone wants to go back to their villages. We just sit here, answer the phone, and write down bookings in the register. It’s a lot of work keeping track of the different routes and timings, but it’s what we do every day. We don’t have any big corporate slogans. We just try to make sure people get on the right bus or car. If there’s a delay, we tell them. It’s better to be straight about it. Most of the people who come here are from nearby or just passing through the gate. We’ve seen Nanded change a bit over the years, but Hingoli Gate stays a main hub for travel. It is just a practical business for local people.
