You can find us down in Shop Number 3, it’s actually in the underground section near the HP petrol pump in Bhokar. Being in Nanded, the weather gets pretty warm, so being underground actually helps keep things a bit cooler during the day. Mani Gram Urban Nidhi Limited is where we spend most of our hours, usually sitting behind the desks with a lot of registers. It’s not the easiest place to spot from the road if you aren't looking, but everyone knows the petrol pump, so that helps people find their way to us. We’ve got a small team here. It’s mostly just making sure the numbers add up and the members are taken care of. No one here wears a suit or anything, we just dress for the work. Some days are slow and we just chat while filing papers, other days there is a line out the door and we have to move fast. We try to keep the place tidy but with all the files, it's a bit of a struggle. It's a local operation, nothing too big. People from around Bhokar stop by while they’re out running errands. We appreciate the regulars who know how we work. It’s just a normal part of the street here. We’ve been here a while and plan to stay. There is no elevator or anything, just the stairs down, so people usually just walk right in.
