Jeevan Vikas Sanstha Foundation

We've been working out of our place at House 3674 in New Kawsan for a while now. It is a quiet spot in Paithan, right in the Aurangabad district. Things started small. We just saw people around here needing a bit of help with day-to-day stuff and decided to get organized. It isn't a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a few rooms where we meet up and figure out what needs doing. Some days it is about helping a neighbor with paperwork, other days it might be checking on the kids or the older folks down the street. We don't have a big staff. It's mostly just us. We know everyone around the Taluka, and they know where to find us if something comes up. Dealing with the heat and the dust is just part of the job here. We try to keep things moving. There is always a lot of talk about big changes, but we mostly just stick to the small, practical things that make a difference to the families living nearby. Sometimes the roof leaks a bit when it rains hard, but we manage. People stop by, have some tea, and we talk about what’s happening in the community. It’s just how it goes here in New Kawsan. We’ve been here a long time and don’t plan on going anywhere. It’s home for us. We do what we can with what we have.
