Our place is in Mudkhed, right across from the Rest House. It's a handy spot because most people know the building. We have been here for a while now, just running our travel business. It’s nothing fancy, just a small office where we manage our cars and bookings. Most days it’s just me and a couple of others keeping track of things. We get a lot of locals who need to get to Nanded or other nearby places. The phone rings a lot, and my desk usually has papers all over it. We try to keep the vehicles in decent shape, but the roads around here can be pretty rough on them. Sometimes a driver is late or a tire goes flat, and we just have to deal with it. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just focus on getting people from one place to another without too much trouble. It's honest work. The weather gets really hot in the summer, which makes the job harder, but we keep at it. People know they can just walk in and ask about a trip. We don't do much advertising; word of mouth is usually enough for us. It’s been this way for years, and we’ve gotten to know many of our regular passengers. We just try to keep things moving and stay busy enough to keep the lights on in the shop.
