Jaimalhar Navinayapurna Sahkari Sanstha

We operate the Jaimalhar Navinayapurna Sahkari Sanstha out of our office near Jadhav Hospital in the Kandhar taluka of Nanded district. Being a cooperative society means there is always a lot of activity going on. People come in from the nearby villages to talk about their accounts or to see what’s new with the society’s programs. It can get pretty crowded in the mornings when the bus drops people off nearby. We have a few old wooden tables and chairs where everyone sits and talks. It’s not just about the numbers; it’s about the people we see every week. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to open all the windows to let the breeze in while we wait for it to come back on. We use a lot of ledgers and notebooks because we find it’s easier to keep track of things that way, even if it feels a bit old-fashioned to some people. The hospital next door is always busy, so there’s a constant stream of traffic and people walking by our door. We’ve been in this part of Nanded for a long time, so most of the locals know exactly where to find us. It’s a community thing, really. We just try to make sure everything is handled fairly for all the members who put their trust in this institution. It's a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one day at a time.
