About Goverment Of Maharashtra – Metals & Minerals in Nanded
We are based in the PWD quarters, specifically at Davabindu A-2 in Snehnagar, Nanded. This is a government-provided housing area, so most of the neighbors work for the state in some capacity too. The office is essentially part of the living quarters, which makes the commute very short. Nanded can get incredibly hot during the summer, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. Snehnagar is a decent area, fairly quiet except for when the kids are playing outside in the evenings. Our work involves a lot of administrative tasks for the Maharashtra government. There are always piles of files on the desk and the phone rings quite often with queries from different departments. We don't have a big storefront or a lobby for people to wait in. It is just a functional space where we handle the documents and planning needed for public projects. The walls are painted a simple cream color and the furniture is the standard wooden type you see in most government offices. People usually know where to find us if they have business with the PWD. We keep a regular schedule, starting around ten and wrapping up by five or six. It is a very routine kind of job, focused on the details of various infrastructure tasks. We just focus on the task at hand without much distraction from the outside world.
