Future Technologies

Future Technologies is right there opposite Snehnagar Gate No. 1. It’s a busy spot because of the gate, so there’s always people moving back and forth. We’ve been here for a while, just handling the day-to-day work that comes our way. The name sounds a bit big, but we’re really just a small group of people working on tech stuff. Most of our morning is spent getting the computers started and seeing what emails came in overnight. It’s not always high-tech excitement; a lot of it is just troubleshooting and trying to get software to behave. We don’t have a flashy sign, just enough so people know where we are when they come for a meeting. The office gets a bit cramped when we have all the equipment out on the tables. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we all just sit around waiting for the router to reset. That's just part of life here near Snehnagar. We get a lot of noise from the traffic outside the gate, but you get used to it after a week or two. There’s a small tea stall nearby where we usually go when we need a break from the screens. It’s a simple operation. We don't have fancy leather chairs or a coffee machine that makes lattes. We just have our workstations and a lot of cables running across the floor. We do our work and go home, simple as that. It keeps us busy and out of trouble most of the time.
