Durga Traders

If you ever find yourself on Kinwat Road in Mahoor, you’ll probably see Durga Traders. We’re right opposite the bus stand, which is a busy place to be almost all the time. There’s always the sound of engines and people shouting for their rides. We’ve been here for a long time, watching the buses come and go from the station. Our shop is where we keep all our trading goods. It’s not a very big space, but we pack a lot into it to make sure we have what people need. We spend most of our time moving boxes and talking to customers who just hopped off a bus. It’s a lot of work keeping things organized when the area is so hectic outside. The dust from the road gets everywhere, so we’re always cleaning the counters and the floor. We don’t have a fancy website or anything like that. We just rely on people seeing us when they get to Mahoor. Sometimes it gets really hot in the afternoons, but we have a small fan that helps a bit while we work. It’s just a regular trading business. We try to have what people are looking for without making it complicated. It’s a simple life, being here by the road. We know the bus drivers and the regulars who pass by every morning. We’re just a part of the daily rhythm here and we stay busy.
