Bhagwati Dal Mills

If you come down to Plot No-D-35 in the Midc Industrial Area, you will find us working away at Bhagwati Dal Mills. The first thing you will probably notice is the smell of the grain and the constant sound of the machines processing everything. It is a very hands-on kind of place to work. We spend our days dealing with heavy bags of dal, moving them from one spot to another and making sure the quality is what it should be. The industrial area is full of similar businesses, but we have carved out our own little corner here. The walls inside are always a bit dusty from the milling process, and no matter how much we try to clean, there is always a fine layer by the end of the shift. That is just part of working in a mill, and you get used to it. Our workers are mostly local people who have been doing this kind of thing for a long time. We do not have a lot of high-tech gadgets; it is more about knowing the machines and how they react to different types of grain. Sometimes a belt breaks or a hopper gets jammed, and we all have to pitch in to get it fixed. We do not have a marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the task at hand and try to keep the production moving. It is honest work that keeps us busy from morning until night.
