Skyas

You can find us in Sai Chambers along Anand Nagar Road. It’s a standard office setup where we spend most of our waking hours. We aren't a huge team, so everyone knows what everyone else is doing. The desks are usually covered in papers and coffee mugs. We deal with various tasks throughout the day, mostly on our computers. Being on Anand Nagar Road means there is always traffic noise outside, which you just get used to after a while. We started Skyas because we wanted to work for ourselves in this part of town. It’s not always easy, and some months are slower than others. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. We spend a lot of time in meetings or just chatting about how to solve a particular problem. It’s a very casual atmosphere here. We wear jeans and stay late if a project needs finishing. Sometimes we go out for tea at the stall around the corner when we need a break from the screens. We just try to do a good job for the people who come to us. We’ve had to learn a lot of things the hard way since we opened, but that’s how you grow. It’s just a normal office trying to make its mark. The whiteboard on the wall is covered in scribbles that only we can understand, mostly deadlines and phone numbers.
