Shiv Surgical

You’ll find Shiv Surgical in the village of Balva. It’s a quiet little place to run a surgical supply business, but it works for us. We don’t have a massive corporate office or a fleet of branded trucks. It’s just a small, functional space where we keep our stock of medical and surgical items. We spend a lot of our time making sure everything is clean and categorized correctly on the shelves. It’s important in this line of work to be precise, so we double-check every order that comes in and goes out. The village life is slow, which gives us time to focus on the details. We mostly supply to the local clinics and doctors in the surrounding areas. We aren't trying to become a global giant; we’re just happy to provide what’s needed to the health centers nearby. Our office is just a couple of desks and a telephone. We don’t use any fancy management software, just a few notebooks and a basic ledger. Sometimes the rain makes the road to the village difficult, but we always manage to get the supplies where they need to go. We’ve built a good relationship with the local pharmacists and nurses. They know they can call us up and we’ll give them a straight answer about what we have in stock. It’s a small, honest business and we like it that way. It fits our life here.
