This is the spot on North Street in Namakkal, right near the R.V. Feeds building in Pattnam. It's a bit of a trek if you aren't from around here. M. Dharmalingam is usually around the place. We keep things pretty simple. The office is tucked away, and we mostly handle the local side of things for the bigger projects. There’s a lot of paper moving back and forth between here and the main sites. We spend our mornings checking emails and our afternoons usually involve a lot of phone calls to suppliers. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy lobby. We have a few plastic chairs for visitors and a table that’s seen a lot of use. The tea is always hot, which helps on the long afternoons. Tamil Nadu heat is no joke, so we stay inside when we can. Most people in the village know where we are. We don't do much advertising; word of mouth works well enough. It’s a small team, just a few of us making sure things don’t fall through the cracks. We do what we can with what we have. It’s just a regular workday for us, keeping track of the contracting side and making sure the names and numbers match up. Sometimes it's slow, but usually, there's something to fix or a form to fill out. We are just a local link in a much bigger chain.
