Vijayalakhsmi Packaging Industries

We are located at number 27 on Kollampattarai Street. It’s a tight street, and we are quite close to Jothi Theatre. When there’s a big movie playing, the whole area gets crowded with bikes and people walking. Vijayalakhsmi Packaging is where we spend our days dealing with paper, glue, and cardboard. The shop is usually full of boxes stacked up high. Sometimes it feels like the boxes are going to fall over, but they never do. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. The smell of the paper is the first thing you notice when you walk in. It’s a bit of an old building, but it works for what we need. We don’t have fancy machines, just the ones that have been with us for years. My hands are usually a bit sticky from the glue we use. We help a lot of local businesses with their boxes. It’s not something people think about much, but everyone needs a box for something. We listen to the crowds at the theatre and we know when the movie is over because the street gets loud again. It’s a simple life in a busy part of town. We just keep making the packaging and making sure the stacks are ready for the morning delivery. There’s no big office here, just the workbench and the storage area. It gets hot inside when we are busy, but we just open the front shutters and keep going until the work is finished.
