Venil Textiles is located over at 190/2 in JKK Nataraja Nagar. We are based in Kumarapalayam, which is part of the Namakkal district. It’s a place where a lot of people know about weaving and cloth. We fit right in with the local scene. Our building isn't anything special to look at, but it works for what we need. Inside, we have our setups for the textile production. It’s a lot of manual checking and making sure the tension on the threads is just right. My family has been involved in this kind of stuff for a long time, so it felt natural to have our own place here. We have a small office where we keep the ledgers and handle the paperwork. It’s usually a bit messy with samples and tea cups. The summers here get really hot, so we try to keep the fans going all day. We have a handful of steady workers who know the machines inside and out. We don't do much fancy stuff, just standard textile work that people need. It’s a steady rhythm. Sometimes we have to deal with logistics issues or parts breaking down, but that's part of the trade. We just stay focused on the day's tasks. It’s a quiet life in a way, even with the noise of the factory. We are just glad to be part of the Kumarapalayam community and keep things running.
