Thugiil Trimmings

Thugiil Trimmings is our little business located on New Pallipalayam Road. We’re right at 1-A-1, very close to the Gowri Theatre. If you know where the theatre is, you can’t miss us. We deal with trimmings and small details for clothing and such. It’s a bit of a niche thing, but there’s always a need for it. The shop is usually filled with rolls of different materials and boxes of small parts. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we have a system that works for us. The road outside can get noisy with all the buses and scooters passing by, especially when a movie is letting out at the theatre. We’ve been here for a good number of years. The locals know us well. It’s just a simple shop where we do our work day in and day out. We don’t have a website or any fancy marketing stuff. Most of our customers come in because they saw our sign or someone told them about us. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it feels right for this neighborhood. We try to be helpful when someone walks in with a specific request. Sometimes we have what they need, sometimes we don’t, but we always tell them the truth. It's just a regular life here, working with our hands and keeping the business going as best we can.
