Swarna Maaligai Private Limited is located at 42/209 on the Trichy Main Road in Thammampatti. It is a busy road that connects different towns. We get a lot of dust from the passing buses, so we are always sweeping the front area. The shop is a basic one with some wooden counters and glass tops. We deal in gold mostly. In this part of the country, people really value gold, so we see a lot of local farmers and villagers coming in. They usually come after the harvest season. We have some old fans that hum quite loudly. We don't have any polished marketing slogans. We just open the shop at 9 AM and stay until we are done for the day. Sometimes we sit on the steps outside when it’s quiet. We have a small safe for the expensive items. The building is a bit old, and the paint is peeling in some corners, but it doesn't bother us.
