Sugam Clinic

Sugam Clinic is located in a spot called Pachampalayam Valaivu which is part of Sankagiri in the Salem district. Most people tell us they found us by looking for the petrol bunk nearby since it is a well-known stop for people driving through. The clinic is a basic building and we keep it very simple inside. There are a few chairs for people to wait and we try to keep things moving as fast as we can. Sankagiri is a small place so we know many of the people who come in by their first names. It feels more like a community spot than a cold medical facility. We deal with regular health issues that families have and we don't try to be something we are not. The floors are tiled and we keep them mopped but you can still see the wear and tear from years of use. It gets quite hot in the afternoons so we have the windows open to let some air in from the outside. We don't have a website or any of that stuff because word of mouth is how people find us here. If you are coming from the main town area you just head towards the valaivu and you will see our board. It isn't a flashy sign but it is clear enough. We focus on getting through the day and making sure everyone who comes in gets seen. We have been at this location for years and the locals know where to find us.
