Sri Kamadhenu Super Market

We are over at 64 Salem Main Road in Ayothiyapattanam. You can’t miss us because we are right near the Ramar Kovil temple. The area is always buzzing, especially during festival times when the temple has a lot of visitors. Our supermarket is where many locals come to get their groceries and household items. We try to keep the shelves stocked with all the usual stuff like rice, oil, and spices. It gets really crowded in the evenings when everyone is trying to buy things for dinner. The billing counter is usually the busiest spot and sometimes the queue goes all the way back into the aisles. We have a few helpers who move the heavy bags and help people find what they need. It’s a lot of work to keep everything tidy, especially with so many people coming in and out. The floor gets dirty quickly, so we are always sweeping. We know many of our customers by their faces, as they’ve been coming to us for years. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic from Salem Main Road just outside, but we’ve gotten used to it. Sometimes we run out of things faster than we can order them, but that’s just how it goes. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s just us and a few local workers making sure the shop stays running every single day.
