Sri Anand Super Market sits at 594 in Komarapalayam. It is a familiar spot for most of the people living on this street. We have got most of the things you would need for your kitchen or your cleaning closet. It isn't one of those massive stores where you get lost in the aisles. It's small enough that you can find what you need in a few minutes. We try to keep the prices fair since we know everyone around here is working hard. The floors are a bit scuffed from all the foot traffic over the years, but we keep it clean. My brothers and I take turns running the register. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the delivery guys are dropping off crates in the morning. We do not have a website or any social media pages. People just know we are here at 594. If we do not have something, we usually try to get it in the next order. It is a busy life, especially during festival times when everyone is shopping for sweets and gifts. We do not wear uniforms or anything like that. We just wear our regular clothes and talk to the customers like neighbors. That is because they are our neighbors. Komarapalayam is a tight community, and we are glad to be a small part of it. There is no big secret to how we run things. We just open the shutters early and stay until the last customer leaves.
