Sree Angu Handlooms

Sree Angu Handlooms is basically a small operation here at No. 91-B/23, East Cauvery Nagar. We’ve been around for quite a while now, mostly just focusing on the handloom work that’s been part of our daily lives. It’s not a big fancy factory or anything like that. Just a place where we get the looms going every morning and keep the threads moving. Most of the people working here live close by, so it feels more like a neighborhood spot than a business sometimes. We handle the weaving and sorting ourselves. The space is a bit crowded with all the materials and the machines, but we know where everything is. People come by the East Cauvery Nagar address when they need something specific or just want to see what’s currently on the looms. We don't really do much advertising or have a big team of sales people. It’s just us doing the work we know how to do. Some days are busier than others, especially when a big order comes in and we have to stay late to finish up. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the actual weaving part of the job. It’s dusty work and loud too, but it’s what we do. We’ve seen the area change over the years, but we’re still here at the same spot. We just keep our heads down and work on the next piece. We don't have a website or anything, just this shop.
