S.K.Exports Imports is tucked away on Pavadi Street in Tiruchengode. It’s a small street, No:4 specifically. If you’ve ever been to this part of Tamil Nadu, you know it’s a hub for transport and textiles. We handle the shipping side of things. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, honestly. The office isn't very big, but we make it work. Most of the time we are checking schedules or making sure the trucks are moving. Tiruchengode is a busy town, and the noise from the street comes right through the windows. We’ve got a few desks and a lot of files. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a lobby or a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and someone is on the phone talking about a container. We’ve been doing this for years. It’s a lot of back and forth with different agents. Sometimes the internet is slow, which makes the export filings take longer than they should. We just deal with it. It’s a local business, run by people who grew up around here. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign. People just know where Pavadi Street is and they find us.
