Saudi Catering Company- Iraq

We are part of the Saudi Catering Company- Iraq operation, but we are actually based here at 29-Sedar Street in Sendamanglam. S.N.Saravana Kumar is the one managing things from this side in the Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu. It is an interesting setup because our work involves a lot of coordination for food services that happen quite far away. My days are mostly spent on the phone or the computer, checking on supply chains and making sure that the catering requirements are being met. Sendamanglam is a relatively small place, so running an international-facing operation from Sedar Street feels a bit unique. We deal with a lot of logistics, like figuring out how to get large quantities of food prepared and delivered to the right locations in Iraq. There is a lot of paperwork involved and plenty of long-distance communication that sometimes happens at odd hours because of the time differences. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that; it is just a practical workspace where we get the logistical heavy lifting done. Most of the people around Namakkal might not even realize we are handling catering for places so far away. It is just a steady, busy job that requires a lot of attention to detail and patience with the shipping schedules. We just keep our heads down and make sure the food orders are processed correctly every single time.
