Sarani Clinic

Sarani Clinic is right on Salem Main Road in the Puthansanthai area of Sellappampatti. It is a spot that many people pass by when they are traveling on the main road through this region. We have been here for a while, and the building has become a bit of a landmark for the locals. It is not a very big clinic, just a few rooms where we see patients and keep our medical supplies. The traffic on Salem Main Road is usually humming in the background, which is something we have just gotten used to over the years. We aren't fancy people here. We just open the doors and help whoever comes in from Sellappampatti or any of the nearby villages. It is a very practical way to run a clinic. We don't have a lot of decorative stuff on the walls, just the essentials for the work. People around here know us by name, and we know many of them too. It makes the work feel a lot more personal than it would be in a big city hospital. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in when the wind blows, and we have to keep on top of the cleaning, but that is just life on a main road. We don't have a big mission statement or a corporate office. We just provide a place for people to get checked out when they aren't feeling well. It is just Sarani Clinic, doing what we do every day.
