Pirrema Spices

We are Pirrema Spices and our shop is located at 26, Buddhar Street. It is a relatively quiet street compared to the main market areas, which we find quite nice. Our space is not very large, but we use every inch of it for storing and processing spices. We deal with all sorts of things like cloves, cardamom, and different peppers. My hands usually have a lingering scent of spices even after I wash them at the end of the day. We are a small, family-run type of operation and we do not have any fancy titles for anyone. We just work together to get the orders ready. The building is quite old and the windows are small, so it stays a bit dim inside. We have a few old wooden tables where we do the sorting by hand. It is a slow process but we feel it is the right way to do it. We do not have a big sign out front, just a small one that has been there for years. Most of our customers are locals who live nearby or other shopkeepers from the next street over. We have built good relationships with the people around us over the years. We don't bother with computers for everything; a simple notebook still handles most of our daily records just fine. It’s a quiet life here on Buddhar Street and we are satisfied with that.
