Pallipalayam Tex Colour Association is at No:3/68-16, Ottamethai. We are right on the Sankagiri Main Road in Pallipalayam, Namakkal. This area is known for all the textile work, especially the dyeing and coloring. Our association is a place where people involved in that trade come together. It is not really a store or a factory, but more of a place for us to handle the business of colors. We have meetings in a small room with some old plastic chairs. It’s nothing fancy at all. We talk about the prices of dyes and how the water supply is doing. The road outside is always busy with trucks carrying cloth to and from the factories. You can often smell the chemicals from the dyeing units nearby. It’s just the smell of work to us. We help out the local members when they have problems with their batches or the regulations.
