Padma Textiles

Padma Textiles is located at 3/112, Gnk Illam on Thangasalai Street. We are out on Mallur Road in the Vennandur Post area, right near the Anna Silai landmark. It’s a place where you can always hear the sound of looms if you walk down the street. We’ve been doing this for quite some time now. It’s a family-run kind of thing, even if we don't say it much. The building is just a regular house turned into a workspace. It gets a bit crowded with all the fabric and threads everywhere, but we manage. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning. We just open the windows and let the breeze in. Most of the people around here work in textiles too, so it’s a familiar environment. We spend our days checking the quality of the cloth and making sure the orders are ready to go out. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything. We just hope the work we do is good enough that people come back. It’s a simple way to live. We take our tea breaks near the Anna Silai and talk about the weather or the news. We aren't trying to be the biggest company, just a steady one. That’s enough for us. We just keep the threads moving and stay busy until the sun goes down every day.
