If you head out to N. Pudupatti and look for Ganapathy Nager, you will eventually find us at 1/202. Our place is called R. P. S. Farms & Exports Pvt. Ltd., but to most people around here, we are just the farm guys. It is a quiet spot away from the heavy traffic of the main towns. Most of our work involves the land and the crops we grow, which means our boots are usually covered in some amount of mud. Farming is a lot of physical labor and there is always something that needs fixing, like a leaky pipe or a broken gate. We handle the export side of things right from the same property, so we have a shed where we sort everything out. It gets quite hot in the middle of the day, so we usually take a long break when the sun is at its peak. The office part of the building is just a small room with a heavy iron safe and a desk that has been in the family for years. We don't have a big fancy sign, just a small one near the entrance. The neighbors in Ganapathy Nager are all good people and we often trade help when the harvest season gets particularly busy. We don't spend much on advertising because the work speaks for itself through the years. It is a steady, slow kind of life, revolving around the seasons and the weather reports.
