Our workshop is located in Karinchi Thottam, out in the R Pudupatti area near Rasipuram. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but we like being out here in the Namakkal district. We do engineering work, mostly involving metal and machinery repairs. It’s a family-run kind of place, and we’ve been here for a long time now. The sound of machines running is pretty much all you hear from morning until the evening. We have a few local guys who work with us, and they really know their stuff when it comes to metalwork. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person to tell our story. Most of our work comes from local people who just know what we do. The roads around here can be a bit rough and muddy after the monsoon, but we manage to get our trucks through. We spend our time welding, cutting, and fixing parts for various industries and farms. It's a dusty job and our clothes are usually stained with oil and grease by noon. That’s just how it goes in a real machine shop. We take pride in just getting the parts right so they work like they should when they go back to the site. We don't talk much, we just get the orders done on time. It’s a quiet life outside of the shop noise. We've got our routine down and we stick to it every day. You'll usually find us covered in soot.
