La Fashionz

Out here on Mohanur Road in Namakkal, things have a different pace than the bigger cities. We are situated in T.S. No. 8, specifically in D Block- 2. It’s a plain building, nothing that really stands out if you’re just driving by. We’ve been operating La Fashionz from this spot for a while now. Most people find us because they live nearby or they’re heading down Mohanur Road for other errands. The space inside is mostly taken up by shelves and boxes because we try to keep a lot on hand. It’s a bit of a family affair here, with my brother helping out and our uncle dropping by to check on things. We don't have any big mission statements or glossy brochures. We just sell clothes that people in the neighborhood need. The lighting in the back is a bit dim, so we do most of our sorting near the front window where the sun comes in. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fans are always clicking away. We know most of our customers by name, or at least we recognize their faces from the local market. It’s a quiet way to make a living, and we prefer it that way. We don't spend money on ads or anything, just keep the door open and wait for whoever comes by. It’s just a practical, everyday shop for regular people who want something simple. We keep it basic.
