I Media

I Media is based at 114 Thuraiyur Road, over in the Pattaraimedu area of Ganga Nagar. It’s a good location, right on the main road, so it’s easy for people to drop by. We’ve been here in Ganga Nagar for a few years now. The office is basically one big room filled with computers and some cameras and editing gear. It gets a bit cluttered with all the hard drives and cables running across the floor, but we manage. We do a lot of different media work, whatever people need really. Sometimes it’s video stuff, sometimes it’s just helping someone with a digital file. It’s mostly us sitting in front of monitors for hours on end. The lighting inside is a bit dim because we prefer it that way for the screens. Outside, Thuraiyur Road is always moving with bikes and buses. We can hear the traffic all day, but you sort of stop noticing it after a while. We aren't a big agency with a lot of fancy titles. It’s just a couple of us who like working with media. We usually have a bit of music playing while we work. People from around the neighborhood stop in quite a bit just to chat or ask a quick question. We try to be helpful and just get the work done without making a big fuss about it. It’s a comfortable enough spot for what we do.
