Our office is located at 5/215, Vallalarkoil Street in Katanachampati. This is over in the Rasipuram area of Namakkal, with the pin code 637408 here in Tamil Nadu. The name is a long one: Gnanamani Rural Entrepreneurship And Technology Incubation Foundation. We usually just call it the foundation when we are talking among ourselves. It’s a busy place. Being on Vallalarkoil Street means there is always something going on outside. We work out of a modest building. It’s not the kind of place with a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and find us at our desks. We deal with a lot of local stuff in Katanachampati. Rasipuram is a good place to be based because it connects us to the rest of Namakkal. We aren't corporate people. Most of us come from around here. We speak simply and we don't like jargon. The foundation is about doing real things for people in rural areas. We don't have a big budget for fancy things, so we just use what we have. Sometimes the power goes out or it gets really noisy, but we just keep working. It's a bit crowded with all the equipment and books, but it feels like home. We’ve been here at 5/215 for a good while and we don't plan on moving anywhere else soon. It works for us.
