Our office is at B-20 in the TNHB Colony, which is in the Kollapatti area of Tiruchengode. John Benedict is the one who usually looks after things here. Even though the name says Chennai, we are actually based here in the Namakkal district. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city, but we like it here. We are a mechanical shop that’s been around for quite some time. The colony is a quiet place to work from, mostly residential with some small businesses mixed in. We do all kinds of mechanical work, which usually means we are covered in oil or dust by the end of the day. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a small group of us working together. We don't have any polished brochures or fancy sales pitches. We just talk to people plainly about what they need and see if we can do it. The weather in Tamil Nadu can be a bit much in the summer, so we keep the windows open and hope for a breeze. We’ve been in Animoor for years and most people know where we are. We just want to keep doing our mechanical work without any fuss. It’s a simple setup and we don’t really need much more than our tools and a bit of space to work in.
