Aravind Hospital

Aravind Hospital is situated at No. 72A in the Vellandivalasu area of Idappadi. It is a quiet enough part of town most days, though Idappadi can get busy during the festival times. We have been operating out of this building for many years. It is a plain structure, nothing that would win any awards for architecture, but it works for what we need. Inside, you will find a few consultation rooms and a place for people to sit while they wait their turn. We do not have a big reception team, usually just one or two people handling everything at the front desk. The doctors and the assistants have been here for a long time. We know the local families and they know us. We do not go in for big advertisements or fancy slogans. Word of mouth is how most people find out about us anyway. If someone has a problem with their eyes or just needs a general checkup, they walk in and we see what we can do. The equipment is older but well-maintained. We keep the place clean, though it has that lived-in feel of a business that has seen a lot of use. It is a practical, local hospital for the people living around Vellandivalasu. We just show up, do our work, and go home at the end of the day.
