Real Marketing Calicut

We are based at Nalukandmdxil in the Khakkur Post area, specifically on Nai Sadak in Calicut. It’s a local marketing setup, nothing like those big agencies you see in the movies. Most of our work involves talking to people and trying to get the word out about different products or services around town. Calicut is a big place, so we spend a lot of time moving around. Our actual office is a simple room where we keep our supplies and do our planning. It’s not very fancy, just some plastic chairs and a wooden table. We spend a lot of time on our feet or on the phone. Marketing here means knowing the local shops and the people who run them. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated strategies. We just try to see what works for the people in this neighborhood. Khakkur is a bit away from the main city center, which is nice because it’s a little quieter. We have a lot of samples and flyers sitting around the office. Sometimes it feels like we are just moving paper from one place to another. But we’ve been doing this for a while on Nai Sadak and we know the rhythms of the street. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is bad, but we keep at it. Some days are long, but we just come back tomorrow and do it again.
