Original Knit Fab

Original Knit Fab is located right on Kangeyam Road in Nallur, just across from Nalli Gounder Nagar at No. 209/3. We are a knitting unit, so there is always the sound of machines running in the background. It gets pretty loud in here, but we are used to it. We make different kinds of fabrics and knitted goods. It is a lot of watching the machines and making sure the threads don't snap. We have a small crew and we all work in shifts. Some of us have been working with textiles our whole lives. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on. The building is an older one, but it works fine for what we need. We don't have a front office with a receptionist. Usually, if someone comes by, they just walk into the shop floor and find one of us. We deal with a lot of local orders and some from further away too. It can be stressful when a machine breaks down, but we usually fix it ourselves. We don't go in for fancy talk about fashion or trends. We just focus on making good fabric that lasts. It’s a bit messy with lint and thread everywhere, but that is just how a knitting factory looks. We stay busy and we like it that way. There is always something that needs fixing or checking before the day is over.
