Nandi Times Publications

Nandi Times Publications is situated in the Raja Complex, right beside Shankermutt in Nallakunta. It is a busy building with a lot of movement. Our office is D. No 1-8-702/6/1/D. When you walk in, you will probably notice the smell of ink and the sound of paper being shuffled around. We have been publishing things here for a while now. It is not a high-tech media house with glass walls. We have stacks of old manuscripts, boxes of printed journals, and desks that have seen better days. Nallakunta is a great place because there are so many students and teachers walking around, which keeps us feeling relevant. We spend a lot of time proofreading and checking the layouts on old monitors. Sometimes we stay late when a print run is due, drinking tea and looking for typos that we might have missed in the first round. We don't have a team of public relations people or a marketing department. Usually, it is just one of us answering the phone and the other handling the distribution out back. We just like the process of seeing something go from a typed page to a printed book or newspaper. It is a bit of a dusty job, and there is always more paper than we have room for. We just keep at it because it is what we know how to do. The Raja Complex is a bit of a maze, but once people find our door, they usually come back again.
