Tejaswini Ice Cream Shop

Tejaswini Ice Cream Shop is sitting in Shop Number 5 at Prameela Towers in Nalgonda. It is a small spot but it works for what we do. We have been here for a bit now, serving the people who live in the towers and the folks passing by. Most of our day is spent standing behind the glass counter. We have a few different freezers for the various tubs we keep in stock. It can get a little crowded in here when a whole family comes in at once. We try to keep the place clean, wiping down the counters whenever there is a spare minute. Nalgonda gets pretty warm, so we are usually a popular stop in the afternoons. The lights in the display cases stay on all day so people can see what we have. We don't do much fancy decoration, just the basics. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps of Prameela Towers when the shop is empty. You get to see a lot of the local life from here. Most of our customers are kids from the neighborhood or people heading home after work. We check our inventory every evening to see what we need to get more of. It is a quiet life for the most part, just managing the shop and making sure the ice cream stays frozen. We are glad to be part of the community here at the towers. We stay open until the evening rush finally dies down and the street lights come on.
