Out on Bhongiri Road in the village of Mothkur, you’ll find us getting our hands dirty every single day. Sai Srinivasa Hydraulic Washing Center is basically a place of water, soap, and a lot of hard work. We spend our hours spraying down trucks, cars, and bikes that come off the road covered in mud. The hydraulic lift is the heart of the place; it lets us get underneath the vehicles to clean off all the grime people don't usually see. It’s a wet job, and most of us end the day with soaked boots and damp shirts. There is something satisfying about seeing a filthy tractor come in and leave looking decent again. We are right in the Mandal area, so we get a lot of locals who stop by after working in the fields. The sun can be pretty brutal out here, but the spray from the hoses helps keep things a bit cooler. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. People just pull up, we do the work, and they head back onto Bhongiri Road. We talk about the weather and the crops while we work the levers and scrub the tires. It’s a straightforward business in a quiet part of the district. We just keep the water running and the brushes moving until the sun goes down. It’s what we know how to do best, day after day.
