Sri Veeranjaneya Cement Industries is out in Redlakunta at Sy No 233/1. Working with cement is a messy job, and there is no way around the grey dust that covers everything from the rafters to the trucks parked outside. We have been at this site for a while now, and the routine hasn't changed much. The day starts early because we want to get the heavy work done before the sun gets too high. There is a lot of mixing, bagging, and stacking involved. We use some heavy machinery to move the bulk material, but there is still plenty of manual labor that needs doing. The yard is usually full of pallets and big bags waiting to be picked up. Redlakunta is a quiet enough area, but our facility adds a bit of noise to the day with the constant grinding and the engines of the delivery vehicles. The guys who work here are used to the hard work and they just get on with it. We don't have any fancy signs or a big corporate office; the main building is just a functional space where the business happens. We spend a lot of time maintaining the equipment because the cement grit can really wear things down quickly. It’s a basic, honest living that depends on the local construction trade picking up their supplies from us on a regular basis.
