Ramchandar Dhanavath

I’m Ramchandar Dhanavath, and I run things from my home at H. No. 2-1-321 in Chandranna Kunta. Being in Suryapet means I’m right in the middle of the Nalgonda district. I’ve lived here in Telangana my whole life. My place isn't anything fancy; it’s just a regular house where I do my business. The street outside is usually busy with people going to the market or kids playing. I don't see the point in having a big, polished office because it’s not who I am. I’d rather sit on a plastic chair with a cup of chai and talk to people face to face. The walls of my workplace have some old calendars and a few photos of my family. I do a lot of different things depending on what's needed that day. It's a one-man show for the most part, though I sometimes get a neighbor to help me move things. People know where to find me if they need help with something local. The house number is easy to spot once you get into the lane. I’ve seen this town grow from a small place to what it is now. The traffic has gotten worse, but the people are still the same. I don't plan on going anywhere else. This is where I started, and this is where I’ll stay. It's just a simple, honest way to make a living in a place I know by heart.
