You will find us on the Main Road in Peddakaparthy Village, right at Sy No 746/A. We have been running this ginning mill for a good while now. It is a pretty big operation with a lot of different moving parts to keep track of. The ginning machines are getting a bit old but they still work very hard for us. We spend a significant amount of our time on daily maintenance to make sure nothing breaks down in the middle of a busy shift. When the fresh cotton arrives, the whole place smells like the open fields. It is a very specific scent that you don't find anywhere else. We have several workers who have been with us for ten years or maybe even more. They know the sounds of the machines better than anyone else does. We are not interested in being some big corporate entity with a lot of rules. We just want to run our mill properly and provide for our families. The road right outside gets very busy with carts and trucks during the peak months of the harvest. Sometimes we have to work late into the night to finish a specific batch for a customer. The lights in the shed are very bright, and it feels like a completely different world inside compared to the quiet village night outside. We deal with the local farmers mostly. They bring their harvest and we process it.
